Payment Policy

At Camas Housecleaning LLC, we value clear communication and transparency. To ensure that our cleaning services are provided efficiently and without delay, we have established the following payment policy:
1. Payment Prior to Service
All payments for cleaning services must be made in full before any cleaning service is performed. This policy applies to all new and existing clients.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following methods of payment:
Credit or Debit Card
Cash
Venmo
3. Invoicing and Payment Deadlines
Once you have confirmed your cleaning service, you will receive an invoice detailing the total amount due. The full payment must be received no later than the start time of service.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
If a scheduled service is canceled within 24 hours of the appointment, a cancellation fee of $50 will apply. Payments made are non-refundable once the service has been completed.
5. Late Payments
If payment is not received by the due date, your cleaning service may be postponed until payment is received. For repeat late payments, we may require future services to be paid 48 hours in advance.
6. Special Arrangements
If you require an alternative payment arrangement, please contact us prior to booking your service. We may be able to discuss special payment terms on a case-by-case basis.

Pet Policy

At Camas Housecleaning, we prioritize the safety and well-being of both our clients’ pets and our cleaning staff. To ensure a smooth and safe cleaning experience for everyone, we have implemented the following pet policy:
1. Dogs Must Be Locked Up During Service
For the safety of both your pets and our cleaning team, all dogs must be securely locked in a separate room, crate, or confined area during the cleaning service. This will help avoid any potential distractions, accidents, or stress for your pet, as well as allow our team to perform the cleaning efficiently.
2. Designated Pet Areas
If your dog typically roams freely in the home, we ask that you arrange for them to be kept in a secure area while we clean. If a designated room or crate is unavailable, we ask that you make arrangements for your pet to be off the premises during the service.
3. Unexpected Issues with Pets
If, upon arrival, our cleaning staff notices that a pet is not secured or is left unattended, they will request that the dog be locked up before beginning the service. If the pet is not secured promptly, we may need to reschedule the cleaning for another time when your pet is properly confined.
4. No Responsibility for Pet Incidents
While we make every effort to ensure the safety of your pets during our visit, Camas Housecleaning is not responsible for any incidents involving pets left unsupervised or not properly confined during our cleaning services.

Customer Safety Policy
At Camas Housecleaning LLC, the safety and well-being of both our customers and staff are our top priority. To ensure a safe and efficient cleaning experience, we ask that if you choose to remain at home during the cleaning service, you please observe the following guidelines:
Maintain a Safe Distance: For your safety, we ask that you stay a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from our cleaners, their tools, and cleaning materials during the service.
1. Avoid Interference:
To ensure our team can work efficiently and safely, please refrain from moving or handling cleaning equipment or supplies during the service.
2. Health and Safety Compliance:
If any cleaning materials or equipment require special handling, our team will provide the necessary guidance. We ask that you follow any instructions or precautions to avoid potential risks.
Hazardous Materials Policy

At Camas Housecleaning, the safety of our cleaning staff, clients, and the environment is our top priority. To ensure that we provide safe and effective services, we have established the following policy regarding hazardous materials, including pet waste, insects, chemicals, and narcotics.
1. Pet Waste
Health and Safety Concerns: If there is an overwhelming amount of pet waste or the presence of waste in areas that pose a health risk, we may need to reschedule the service or refer you to a specialized service. We will inform you immediately if the pet waste presents a health hazard or interferes with the cleaning process.
No Pet Waste Cleanup: Our cleaning team does not handle the cleanup of pet waste, including feces, urine, or other waste materials. We ask that all pet waste be properly cleaned up prior to our arrival. If pet waste is present during the cleaning, our team will work around it and avoid any direct contact with it.
2. Narcotics and Illegal Substances
Zero Tolerance for Illegal Substances: Our team is prohibited from interacting with or handling any illegal substances, including narcotics, in any form. If our staff encounters substances that they suspect to be illegal (e.g., drugs or controlled substances), they are required to report the matter immediately to their supervisor. This may result in the cancellation of services and, if necessary, involvement of local authorities.
Notification and Action: If narcotics or illegal substances are found on the premises, our cleaning team will not engage with or remove these substances. We will immediately halt the cleaning service and leave the premises, notifying you of the situation.
3. Additional Hazardous Materials
Identification of Hazards: If our team identifies any other hazardous materials (e.g., mold, asbestos, sharp objects, biohazards), we will notify you immediately. We do not handle hazardous waste or materials that require specialized equipment, training, or certifications. In these cases, we will recommend a licensed professional to manage the situation.
Right to Refuse Service: For the safety of our cleaning team, if hazardous materials are found or suspected and pose a risk to health, we reserve the right to refuse service or reschedule the cleaning until the issue is resolved.
4. Insect Infestation
Insect Infestation Policy: If an active insect infestation (such as ants, cockroaches, bedbugs, etc.) is observed, our cleaning staff will not treat or attempt to control the infestation. It is the responsibility of the client to manage any pest control issues before the cleaning service can proceed. If our team encounters an infestation during the service, we will notify you immediately and stop the cleaning process.
Right to Refuse Service: If our team encounters an insect infestation that is deemed severe or if the presence of insects poses a health risk, we may refuse service and recommend that you contact a pest control professional. We reserve the right to reschedule the cleaning until the infestation has been addressed.
5. Liability and Client Responsibilities
Client’s Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to inform Camas Housecleaning of any hazardous materials or conditions that may affect the safety of our cleaning staff. This includes providing notice of any hazardous chemicals, pet waste concerns, or the presence of illegal substances.
Liability for Hazards: Camas Housecleaning is not responsible for injuries, damages, or health issues caused by undisclosed hazardous materials, including chemicals, pet waste, or illegal substances.
